Based on the well proven Ciject One platform, the Ciject Two is built around a powerful PLC control system enabling the addition of sophisticated control options. The machine is available for use with polyester, vinyl ester or Epoxy resin systems. As well as providing all the standard Ciject One functions, the Ciject Two includes the following features:

Control System designed for powerful automation and easy operator use:

• 110-240V Industrial Omron Modular PLC.
• 5.7” Colour HMI touch screen with adjustable brightness/contrast.

• Intelligent machine program - prevents operator error
• Pre-settable programmes enabling input of injection volume, injection pressure, start and end catalyst percentages.
• Password protection for configuration and programming screens
• Machine Operation Log Screen records up to 4000 machine actions
• Compact Flash (Type II) slot for data logging in CSV format.
• Average flow rates displayed during injection.
• Selectable auto/manual flush sequence
• Automatic recirculation feature with programmable timers.
• Facility to connect ‘In-mould pressure sensors’ (IMPS) to enable injection control based on in-mould pressure feed-back.

Options for the Ciject Two® Include:

• Motorised Catalyst Ratio System (MCR)
• Automatic setting of catalyst levels from pre-settable programs

Progressive catalyst adjustment for automatic control during injection of large components. Allows injection to start at one ratio and progressively change during the injection to finish at a second ratio.

System uses high quality Omron DC servo motor system with digital rotary encoder for continual position monitoring and origin detection.

Radio Frequency Mould Identification System (RFID)

This option allows each mould to be identified from a pre-programmed radio frequency tag. The tags are easily programmed from the machine with all injection parameters (resin quantity, catalyst ratio, injection pressures etc). The operator simply scans the tag using the hand-held sensor to input the correct settings.

The system ensures the operator always selects the correct recipe, and allows unlimited numbers of moulds to be instantly recognised by the injection machine. Highly resistant to damage, the tags are easily attached to the mould and are self- powered.

Catalyst Flow Monitor

Providing accurate measurement of catalyst flow, this option adds further levels of security for high level production:

• Thermodynamic Catalyst Flow Sensor with scaling LED output and link to control system alarm and operator display. Alarms are logged to machine operation log.
• Precise flow monitoring from 0.001 litre/min to 1 litre/min
• Reduces possibility of scrap due to catalyst failure.

Catalyst Level Sensor

• Detects if catalyst level is insufficient for operation.
• Prevents start-up and warns operator if level is low.

Solvent Level Sensor

• Non Intrusive Solvent Level Sensor.
• Detect if level is insufficient for operation.
• Prevents start-up and warns operator if level is low.

Pre-Injection Vacuum level test facility

Specifically for use in VRTM processes, this option prevents start-up if insufficient vacuum level is detected in the mould cavity.

• In-mould pressure monitoring via sequenced injection valve operation.
• Automatically measures mould vacuum level and provide Pass/Fail feed-back prior to injection.
